P.E.
St. Catherine Academy offers its students Physical Education class in our gym building, sometimes utilizing the outside basketball court, playground, and field.

Through exercise, team play, and disciplined skill-building, students grow in character and joy.

They use equipment such as a large- parachute, scooters, volleyball nets, and more.



Enrichment
Each week, Enrichment class helps students to appreciate culture and the world around them. These studies and activities, beyond the normal focus of the core subjects, enrich the lives of students and contribute to a well-rounded education.
Building Dulcimer InstrumentsArt Class
Students are given an opportunity to expand their creative side in Art class. Here, they undertake projects from painting to crafts. Past classes have made their own custom Bible covers, Rosaries, Derby hats, and more.

Library
Our school library features a number of classic and modern books, fiction and non-fiction, which any child is sure to enjoy. Students can routinely visit our library and, with their class every other week, take a walk to the library in New Haven, where they can check out books and enjoy occasional activities hosted there.

The HobbitRecess
Each day, students can play at our playground with their classmates. There is something for everyone to enjoy, from the slide to the swings. The playground also stays open after school ends for families who would like to use it before returning home.
