Pre-Kindergarten at St. Catherine Academy offers 3 and 4-year-old child
ren readiness experiences based on the age and needs of the individual child. Our teachers use the whole group, small group, and individual approach to help each child achieve success.
We maintain low student/teacher ratios in order to provide quality care. We follow a structured daily schedule, yet we are sure to include fun energetic activities and the use of creative expression.Our youth are able to grow in a peaceful school environment.
The children in our program learn to "make peace" with others by using their words. With Positive Discipline (teaching responsibility, self-control, problem-solving skills and getting along with others), children are given the tools they need to grow as healthy, confident individuals.
Our program promotes self-help skills, imagination, and the individual interests of children. -
More InformationThe Pre-Kindergarten Program follows the St. Catherine Academy school calendar. Pre-Kindergarten instructional hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. All children must be picked up by 3:30 p.m unless enrolled in after-school care.
All students are required to have the following forms on file:
1) Birth Certificate (original from the state)
2) Social Security card
3) Baptismal Certificate (If not baptized at St. Catherine or Immaculate Conception)
4) Up-to-date Immunization Certificate
5) Physical Exam
6) Eye Exam by an Optometrist
